Why ORBA?
Many people when buying in Spain will choose a property by the sea or on the edge of a golf course. The Orba Valley offers an alternative for those wishing to see more of the 'real Spain', whilst still having the convenience and comfort of a few local English bars, shops etc. Properties inland also represent greater value for money when compared to similar properties on the coast.
Orba is a more traditional Spanish town, with truly magnificent surrounding countryside. 'Fiesta' season in this area is a really grand affair and each local village enjoys 2 weeks of non stop partying in the summer months. If you visit each village during their particular fiesta time, you could find yourself entertained for weeks. Orba itself boast numerous shops, banks, restaurants, bars etc., as do the surrounding villages.
Places to see
As well as the more traditional smaller towns and villages surrounding Orba, there are a number of attractive coastal towns to visit, all within approximately 30 minute drive. Denia, Javea, Calpe and Moraira are very popular and all are well worth a visit, Benidorm also has plenty on offer. The vibrant city of Valencia can be reached by car in approximately 75 minutes.
Nearest Airport
Alicante and Valencia are both approximately 75 minutes drive from Orba. A choice of airports makes it easier to pick up cheaper flights and a number of low cost airlines are now flying to these airports from both Manchester and Leeds/Bradford.
