From the moment I first contacted Hudson Moody to start the process of selling my mother's house I found them professional, friendly and straightforward. They did not encourage me to have unrealistic expectations and devised a sale strategy that ultimately achieved a sale 12% above the guide price. The agent clearly knew the York market intimately and the process of viewings and offers was handled efficiently. Support was always available to navigate queries from the buyers and arrange electrical surveys, house cleaning etc. They also liaised effectively with both firms of solicitors. The process from organizing several viewings to communication with the seller and their solisitor was amazing, I am very happy and grateful for all that Chloe and Yasmin did for me. And special thank you for your recommendation for conveyancing solicitors and especially Michael Christou from Progeny whom I chose and couldn't be happier with, he was efficient and responded quickly and made the buying a smooth process. I had the keys only 7 weeks after the first viewing of the house, took a couple weeks to consider if I liked the house enough or not and had a couple more viewings, after that it only took 4 weeks from first instructing Michael Christou, I can't praise him enough.
