A day in the life of Rose

Rose is one of our Senior Sales Negotiators working in our city centre office. No two days are the same and Rose spends her time helping many of our clients. Here is a brief insight into the things Rose gets up to, how she helps our customers, and the favourite parts of her job.

Getting to know the properties
One of the most important parts of her role as a sales negotiator is visiting each property when we’re preparing it for marketing. Rose will visit the property, along with another member of our team, to take the photographs and property details.

She’ll speak with the vendor to find out all about the property, and anything they may want us to tell people when they’re viewing. This is a really important part of the sales process as it allows our clients to get to know our team and also ensures that Rose has first-hand knowledge of the property. This can be vital to securing a successful sale and means Rose is in a better position to negotiate on the owners’ behalf as she knows the property well.

Sales Progression
Back at the office, Rose will also handle sales progression, liaising with clients, solicitors and buyers to help the sales process progress as smoothly as possible. Rose will provide regular updates to our clients to ensure they know what’s happening and, should any problems arise, Rose can assist with any re-negotiation that might need to happen, working hard to keep the sales chains together.

Customer Care
Customer care is a huge part of Rose’s role and something we value really highly. Rose is always on hand to speak to clients providing a personal, consistent service. She will assist with telephone and online enquiries, book valuations, arrange viewings and relay viewer feedback to clients – it’s all in a day’s work!

With such a busy and varied role, we asked Rose what her favourite, and least favourite aspects were…

What’s your favourite part of your role?
My best thing about my job is agreeing a sale and hearing the excitement of both the vendor and buyer when I tell them the good news!

What’s your least favourite part of your role?
It’s always difficult delivering bad news to either a vendor or buyer, especially if a sale is unable to proceed.

How much is my property worth?
