It’s hard to believe that a few weeks ago I marked 20 years at Hudson Moody. I still remember my first day at the High Petergate office meeting Ben and all the members of staff at the time. They were great at helping me to settle in then and during the subsequent years there have been numerous members of staff who’ve come and gone, sadly some no longer with us, who were great to work with. Over the years I have been involved with many aspects of the business starting in sales and now happy in lettings. I have seen estate agency change dramatically in my 20 years and have fond memories of sticking countless photographs onto sales particulars and spending hours pulling together advert for the Property Press which has now been superseded by online brochures and TikTok. Hudson Moody has shown how successful a company it’s been and, despite the various challenges estate agency faced during my time here, it’s still one of York’s top agents. I believe this is down to the great teamwork which was here when I started and is still very much present today in both sales and lettings.
