On Friday 5th April, our directors Ben and Tarnia Hudson will be spending the night outdoors, with nothing but cardboard, plastic and a sleeping bag for shelter! The Sleepout aims to raise as much awareness and money as possible to support SASH’s work in helping to prevent youth homelessness in North and East Yorkshire.
SASH provide a variety of different services to young vulnerable people in our region and, together with volunteers, they help young people to go on and lead positive, independent lives.
For just £18.
50, SASH can arrange for a homeless person to stay at an emergency night stop for one night with meals provided.
SASH also offer longer term supported lodgings where a young person can stay with a host for up to two years as well as receiving intensive support to help them get back into college, work or training.
If you’d like to support us, you can do so by donating here.
Together we can help break the homelessness cycle in York and across our region.
