Selling your property in December Everyone has their own opinion over when is the best time to sell a property but most people are in agreement that December is especially difficult.

While it’s true that most people’s minds are occupied with other things around Christmas, such as shopping, cooking and preparing for having the relatives round, it’s also a time of year where people will begin thinking about their hopes and dreams for the following year, and that often includes purchasing a new home.

Even on Christmas Day itself, many property websites report high numbers of traffic to their websites with property hunters searching for their dream homes on their new mobiles, tablets and laptops in-between their Christmas pudding and watching the Queen’s Speech, which means that even if you might not sell your property in December, it’s still important to prepare well in advance if you want a sale in the New Year.
