Hudson Moody Announces Leadership Promotions Following Transition to Limited Company Structure
York-based estate agency Hudson Moody has announced the promotion of two key team members into senior leadership roles, as the business continues its evolution following its transition from a partnership model to a limited company structure.
Rose Dawson has been appointed Director of Operations, while Tom Eyre steps into the role of Director of Sales. These appointments mark an important stage in the firm’s long-term growth strategy and reflect its commitment to developing leadership from within.
The move to a limited company structure has enabled Hudson Moody to formalise and expand its team of Directors, creating greater capacity to share responsibilities across the business and support its continued growth. This shift is designed to strengthen the company’s operational foundations while enabling it to broaden its geographical reach and embrace new opportunities in an evolving property market.
A key focus of this next phase is internal progression. By promoting from within, Hudson Moody aims to ensure that experience, company values, and fresh thinking are retained and developed at leadership level, while also creating clear aspiration pathways for team members across the business.
Rose Dawson has been with the company for 10 years, progressing from Sales Negotiator to Sales Manager, and now Director of Operations. Over that time, she has played a key role in supporting the business through significant growth and market changes, helping to maintain high standards and consistency across the team.
Tom Eyre joined the business five years ago after moving cross-country from the South Coast to York with his wife to start a family, bringing with him over 8 years of industry experience. Since then, he has established himself as a key member of the sales team, developing strong market knowledge and contributing to the company’s continued success in the York property market.
Together, these promotions reflect Hudson Moody’s focus on strengthening internal structure, increasing leadership capacity, and creating pathways for progression for all staff across the business, ensuring the business is well-positioned to expand its regional coverage and embrace any future opportunities.
Rose Dawson, Director of Operations, said: “I’m delighted to step into the role of Director of Operations at Hudson Moody.
“I look forward to seeing the business continue to develop and grow whilst working alongside an incredible team.
“My focus is to maintain our high standards whilst building a platform that sets us up for long-term success and workplace happiness.”
Tom Eyre, Director of Sales, said: “It has been a pleasure to be a part of Hudson Moody’s growth over the past five years.
“Delivering exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do and will always remain our priority.
“I’m proud to work alongside such a dedicated and hardworking team, where every client receives the same high standard of service, no matter the property.”
Ben Hudson, Managing Director at Hudson Moody, said: “I’d like to congratulate Rose and Tom on their well-deserved promotions.
“Our transition from a partnership to a limited company marks an important step forward for Hudson Moody.
“By promoting from within, we’re not only strengthening our leadership team but also creating the capacity to expand and bring fresh thinking into the business.
“This approach allows us to share responsibility at senior level, embrace new opportunities, and ensure we are well positioned for the future, while also giving our team clear aspiration ad progression pathways.”
Hudson Moody is an independent, family-run estate agency established in 1996, with offices across York city centre, Poppleton and Dunnington.
