Woodthorpe is a popular suburb just southwest of the city centre, the surrounding areas including Dringhouses, and Foxwood offer a great range of family houses. The village has easy access to the city centre and outer ring road, it is also located close to Askham Bar Park and Ride. The area also has its own Woodthorpe Primary, making it desirable for young families.
